In God We Trust

R.I.P. 2005 - 2021

Don’t be confused.

You’re in the right place.

There is no more In God We Trust.

Instead there is this.

Me.

Just me.

Shana Tabor.

Contact me with any IGWT related inquiries. I will most likely be able to help.

&Yes, I am often able to remake or repair an IGWT jewelry fav.

In God We Trust

est. 2005.

What began as an indie jewelry brand, grew to a successful multifaceted organization. Cherished by artists, designers and tastemakers since 2005 when the trailblazing boutiques opened in Brooklyn & Lower Manhattan. IGWT was designing, manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing the namesake collections in Womenswear, Menswear, Jewelry and Accessories. Yes, we had our own factory in Brooklyn.

I am still not completely sure how it was all allowed to happen, but it was and for 15+ years.

Thank you. I had a blast.

XOXO SBT

"In God We Trust" is a Brooklyn-based fashion brand that has garnered recognition for its distinctive and meticulously handcrafted jewelry and clothing designs. Founded by Shana Tabor in 2005, the brand has forged a reputation by upholding a commitment to producing premium-quality, locally-crafted goods that prioritize the values of craftsmanship and authenticity.

Tabor's work stands out with its distinctive and whimsical originality, setting it apart from mainstream trends. The brand has become synonymous with its artisanal jewelry pieces, characterized by their clean lines, minimalist aesthetics, and nuanced yet captivating details. "In God We Trust" is dedicated to local manufacturing, creating its jewelry, clothing, and accessory items within its own Brooklyn studio. This dedication aligns with their focus on supporting local artisans and bolstering community businesses.

Furthermore, the brand places a strong emphasis on ethical production practices and sustainability. Their unwavering dedication to responsible sourcing and manufacturing deeply resonates with consumers who prioritize conscientious consumption and sustainable choices.

Apart from its online presence, "In God We Trust" had extended its reach by establishing a network of physical retail locations. These include not only Brooklyn and Manhattan but also Portland, OR, totaling an impressive count of seven locations. This brick-and-mortar presence allows customers to immerse themselves in the brand's unique designs and engage with the products in person.

"In God We Trust" has been highly successful in fostering a strong sense of community engagement. They achieve this through hosting local workshops, participating in events, and collaborating with various individuals and groups. This active involvement serves to cultivate meaningful connections not only among their team and customers but also with fellow designers and the broader communities they serve.

Tabor’s departure from NY and subsequently the Covid-19 pandemic play significant part of the brand's end. While the closure marked the end of "In God We Trust," it's reassuring to know that Tabor's choices were made with the best intentions, and her legacy lives on because life keeps happening.
