SHIPPING & HANDLING

In-stock items will ship within 5 days of purchase. If you have added engraving to an in-stock item, please allow an additional 2 weeks for engraving to be completed. Once shipped, we will send a shipping confirmation via email which will contain a tracking number from the shipping provider.

Once an order has left our premises, it is in the care of UPS, USPS, and/or your local postal service. Shana Tabor is not liable for any errors made by these service providers. Any damage caused during shipping should be directed to UPS or USPS and their customer service department. We will supply you with the necessary information needed in the event that a claim needs to be filed with a shipping provider.

Shana Tabor is not responsible for unclaimed or refused packages. In the event that a package gets returned to our shipping facility by the shipping provider, the customer will have the opportunity to cancel or exchange the returned order minus shipping fees.

All international sales are final. International orders are shipped via DHL. International orders may carry additional tariffs or duties we cannot predict. The customer is responsible for any and all customs/duties/import taxes needed to clear customs at the destination country. We do not control these costs and are not responsible for any affiliated delay. We recommend that you contact your local customs or post office with questions about which charges may apply for your country

TIME FRAMEs

Timeframe for bespoke project completion is typically 4-12 weeks after design approval and deposit has been posted.

Made to order items typically require 4+ weeks to complete before shipment. Contact us about custom design possibilities.

Engraving will add 2 weeks to any designs delivery. If you are concerned about a deadline kindly reach out beforehand to insure the project can be completed.

RETURN POLICY

We hope you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, please notify us immediately via info@shanatabor.com. This policy will be honored for items received in our studio within 14 days following the delivery of your order.

In-stock items can be exchanged for store-credit. Made-to-order items are subject to approval; if approved those can be exchanged for store credit. Refunds are not available, this should be taken to consider before purchasing.

Bespoke, custom orders, antique or any items customized for clients are final sale.

All international sales are final.

Additionally, shipping fees, custom fees, import taxes and any of Shana’s services and fees, are non-refundable. If your return/exchange is deemed acceptable please allow 10-14 days for your return to be processed. Buyer is responsible for all return/exchange shipping costs. Shana Tabor is not responsible for return shipping costs or duty reimbursement in the case of international purchases. For more information on claiming duties please contact your local customs bureau. Shana Tabor holds the right to deny returns should the merchandise not meet our policy requirements.

RUSH SERVICE

jewelry repair & care

If your jewelry requires repair, contact us directly with proof of purchase to see what can be done.

Regardless of cost or material, all of our jewelry is special and should be treated with the love it deserves. Proper care is required to maintain our product’s integrity and keep it looking its best. The following is a basic guideline for keeping you and your jewelry happy:

  • Mindfully select jewelry to suit your lifestyle and functionality. Regardless of price, delicate jewelry is delicate. Never bend or alter the intended form of your Jewelry. Consult a professional if size or shape needs adjusting. Remove all jewelry before sleeping, bathing, swimming, sunning, cleaning or exercise.

  • Do not wear jewelry when applying lotions, perfume and makeup.

  • Never expose jewelry to household cleaners or other harsh chemicals.

  • Clean jewelry often, below are some suggestions. Seriously soiled jewelry should be cleaned professionally. Let us know, we can help.

Polishing: Maintain a shine with a professional polishing cloth or a soft lint-free 100% cotton cloth for best results. Use of tissue or paper towels can cause scratches because of the fibers in these products. For any jewelry with a matte finish, please contact us for further assistance.

Cleaning: Using warm water is the best bet when cleaning your jewelry. To help remove any oils and loosen buildup,
we also recommend soaking your jewelry in a glass of warm water with a drop or two of non-detergent soap like Dr. Bronner's. Remove after a few minutes and pat dry with a soft cloth. If further cleaning is necessary, use a very soft, worn toothbrush to carefully remove any dirt or debris. Check jewelry for damage or loose stones before cleaning. Always thoroughly dry jewelry after cleaning and before storing.

Storage: After each use jewelry should be wiped clean with a polishing cloth to remove perspiration and dirt.
Jewelry should be put away properly in a dry cool place. Store each piece separately in a dry sealed baggy, fabric pouch, lined box and or wrapped in tissue. Storing jewelry individually will increase the longevity of
the piece. This is especially the case with jewelry set with stones- damage will occur if stones rub against each other.
